The Detail Locker Double-Sided Interior Scrub Pads are dual-sided, featuring nylon bristles on both sides of the pad giving you double the scrubbing capability. They are ideal for a variety of car detailing tasks including cleaning interior textured plastics and fabrics, providing a deeper clean than a microfibre towel, and covering a much larger surface area compared to a detailing brush to speed up the cleaning process significantly.

How to Use

– Spray your favourite interior cleaner onto the pad. We advise avoiding cleaners which are too aggressive particularly on sensitive surfaces. Always test on a small inconspicuous area first.
– Gently scrub the surface with the pad. Little pressure is needed as you can simply let the bristles do the work.
– Wipe the residue away with a microfibre towel to leave a clean surface behind.

What surfaces can the scrub pads be used on?

The scrub pads are primarily designed for textured plastics and fabrics (including Alcantara) on the interior of the vehicle. They can also be used to clean tyres, and are perfect general cleaning around the house. I even use them to clean the midsoles on my trainers!

We do not advise using on leather surfaces as in some cases they may be too aggressive. Also, do not use on painted or piano black (glossy) plastics as these scratch easily. Always spot test on an inconspicuous area first.

How do you clean the scrub pads?

The scrub pads can simply be rinsed with water and left to air dry after use. If the pads are particularly dirty, use a suitable dilution of an all-purpose-cleaner (APC) or interior cleaner and scrub the pad on a microfibre towel to deep clean, then rinse with water and leave to air dry. We recommend rinsing/cleaning the pads after every use to keep them fresh.
