The Detail Locker Cloud Mitt is an ultra-soft wash mitt carefully designed to offer the ultimate contact washing experience. Unlike other colours, the white design ensures you can always see what’s being picked up on your mitt so you can rinse it off before it causes marring. Made from plush microfibre, this mitt treats delicate paintwork with the utmost care.

Tips for use

– Wash the mitt before the first use.
– Pre-wash your paintwork first (using either citrus pre-wash or snow foam) and thoroughly rinse to remove as much dirt as possible from the car before contact washing.
– Lubricate the wash mitt using a high-quality shampoo either in a bucket or foam lance.
– Wash the vehicle from top to bottom so the dirtiest areas of the car are left until last.
– Keep rinsing the wash mitt in a clean bucket of water to prevent dirt build-up.
– Use a separate wash mitt on the paintwork compared to other areas such as the wheels, exhaust and door jambs to avoid cross-contamination.

How do you clean the wash mitt?

– Always wash new microfibre products before using.
– Wash after each use on a low temperature (30°C) in a washing machine.
– Separate colours when washing to avoid dye bleeding. Note: as this is a white mitt it can be susceptible to staining from washing with other colours, especially if the other towels are new.
– Do not wash microfibre with any other fabric types such as cotton. Separate heavily soiled microfibre from cleaner microfibre.
– Use a dedicated microfibre detergent or non-bio liquid detergent (free from bleach, fabric softener and other additives).
– Do not use powder detergent or fabric softener.
– Hang to air dry in a dust-free environment. Do not use heat to dry. Do not iron or hang on a radiator.
– Store in a sealed bag or container to avoid dust settling.
