Terms & Conditions
By using the Detail Locker website you agree to the following terms and conditions.
In these terms and conditions the following expressions shall have the following meanings:
– “The Company” means Detail Locker
– “The Customer” means the person, firm or company offering to buy goods from the Company.
– “The Goods” means the goods or materials that the Customer is buying or offering to buy.
Returns & refunds
We offer a 14 days returns policy for products which are unused and in their original condition.
To initiate the return process, please email info@detaillocker.com with your original order number and name of the item you wish to return within 14 days of receiving the order. Please do not attempt to return a product without contacting us first as we will not be able to process this.
Once you have contacted us to initiate the returns process, you have 14 days to return the items to us. Once the item has been received back, we will inspect the product to ensure it is unused and in its original condition. We will then issue the refund back to the original payment method used within 14 days of receiving the goods. Once issued, refunds typically take 2-5 days but can take up to 30 days depending on the method of payment used. Please note that only the standard delivery postage paid will be refunded. If you have chosen a more expensive delivery option when ordering, the difference between this and the cost of standard delivery will not be refunded. If only part of the original order is returned, you will not be entitled to a refund for any postage paid.
The customer is responsible for the postage cost of the return. We do not provide returns labels. We recommend that products are returned via recorded delivery as we cannot be held responsible, nor refund items that do not make it to us.
If you receive a damaged order, please provide photos as we may need to provide these to the delivery company to process a damages claim.
Delivery & Payments
We offer delivery to the UK. We do not deliver to any other countries at this time.
Orders are sent via Royal Mail. The weight/ size of the parcel are automatically calculated on the cart/ checkout page which will give you the lowest available shipping options for your selected products.
Detail Locker aims to package and send orders within two working days of receiving them. Please expect the fulfilment to take longer during sales or busy periods.
We use Royal Mail 24 and Royal Mail 48 delivery services, which aim to deliver within 1 working day, and 2-3 working days respectively following dispatch. We also use Royal Mail 1st Class and 2nd Class delivery services on very small items, these services typically take 2 days and 3-4 days respectively following dispatch. Please note, deliveries to Northern Ireland can take longer than this. Please note that these are the delivery aims provided by Royal Mail, and delivery timeframes cannot be guaranteed.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email to say that your order is complete and has finished processing. Please note that once your order has been sent, the postal network are out of our control. By placing an order, you understand and accept that you are bound by the terms of delivery of the courier.
Please note that Royal Mail will not consider an item to be “lost” until at least 7 working days after the expected delivery date (not the dispatch date) with parcels sent via Tracked 24 and Tracked 48 services, and until at least 10 working days after the expected delivery date (not the dispatch date) for orders sent via 1st Class and 2nd Class services.
Until the date falls outside the timeframes given above, we are unable to re-send any orders and must wait until enough time has passed for the parcel to be considered “lost”. In most cases, when the parcel has not been delivered by the expected date, this is typically due to delays at one of the Royal Mail hubs/ sorting centres. In most cases, the parcel will still arrive within the timeframes outlined above.
If the order has still not arrived 7 working days after the expected delivery date for orders sent via Tracked 24 and Tracked 48 services, or after 10 working days after the expected delivery date for orders sent via 1st Class and 2nd Class services, we will re-send the order if stock is available, or issue a full refund in the event of stock being unavailable. You must inform us if your order has not arrived by emailing info@detaillocker.com and include your order number.
Orders are processed and dispatched as quickly as possible so we may not be able to makes any changes to your order after it has been placed. However, you can contact us by emailing info@detaillocker.com and we will do our best to make the change if the order has not been processed.
We accept major debit and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We also accept Apple Pay and Google Pay.
We are not VAT registered so are unable to issue VAT invoices for orders.

Pre-Orders
Pre-orders require full payment to be made at checkout. Pre-orders do not guarantee availability of an item, and pre-ordered items are sold on a first come, first served basis. Once we receive stock of the item, if there is insufficient stock to fulfil your pre-order, a full refund will be issued. We cannot guarantee a specific shipping date for pre-order items. Usual delivery timelines apply once the order has been shipped.
Please contact us by emailing info@detaillocker.com with your order number as soon as possible if you wish to cancel a pre-order. Please note that if the order has already been dispatched, then the usual returns and refund policy will apply and you will be responsible for the cost of the return.
Intellectual Property Rights
Other than the content you own, under these Terms, detaillocker.co.uk and/or its licensors own all the intellectual property rights and materials contained in this Website.
You are granted limited license only for purposes of viewing the material contained on this Website.
Restrictions
You are specifically restricted from all of the following:
- publishing any Website material in any other media;
- selling, sublicensing and/or otherwise commercializing any Website material;
- publicly performing and/or showing any Website material;
- using this Website in any way that is or may be damaging to this Website;
- using this Website in any way that impacts user access to this Website;
- using this Website contrary to applicable laws and regulations, or in any way may cause harm to the Website, or to any person or business entity;
- engaging in any data mining, data harvesting, data extracting or any other similar activity in relation to this Website;
- using this Website to engage in any advertising or marketing.
Your Content
In these Website Standard Terms and Conditions, “Your Content” shall mean any audio, video text, images or other material you choose to display on this Website. By displaying Your Content, you grant detaillocker.co.uk a non-exclusive, worldwide irrevocable, sub licensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate and distribute it in any and all media.
Your Content must be your own and must not be invading any third-party’s rights. Detail Locker reserves the right to remove any of Your Content from this Website at any time without notice.
Limitation of liability
In no event shall Detail Locker, nor any of its officers, directors and employees, shall be held liable for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of this Website whether such liability is under contract. Detail Locker, including its officers, directors and employees shall not be held liable for any indirect, consequential or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of this Website.
Indemnification
You hereby indemnify to the fullest extent Detail Locker from and against any and/or all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages and expenses arising in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid under any applicable law, such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.
Variation of Terms
Detail Locker is permitted to revise these Terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this Website you are expected to review these Terms on a regular basis.
Assignment
Detail Locker is allowed to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms without any notification. However, you are not allowed to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these Terms.
Online store
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual product.
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your area of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your area of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
